Let’s Gear Up for Grad Year: Head Start for applicants headed to any of the University of California campuses Date/Time: TBD Location: Online
This session is designed for soon-to-be grads who wish to jump-start their University of California application by getting some of the essentials (PIQs: The Personal Insight Questions) out of the way, reducing their workload once school begins. Topics include:
- Developing a time-line for application completion & submission
- Brainstorming for topics for your four PIQs & Add’l. Comments
- Beginning work on content and structure of essays
- Self-reporting your coursework and your grades: bring along an unofficial transcript
- Entering your accomplishments: listing activities, academic awards, leadership
- Learning some tricks of the trade when it comes to the UC applications
- Having fun, learning from each other as you get to know other outstanding seniors from various lower mainland schools.
Workshops are limited to Select College Admissions students.
